    • Whetstone: rinse with clean water after use and leave to dry flat, in the open air.
    • Wood (board, knife block): hand wash, dry immediately, never in the dishwasher. A thin coat of food-safe oil from time to time keeps the wood nourished.
    • Magnetic strip: a dry cloth is enough. Place the blade spine first, never edge first.
    • Sharpener: wipe the slots with a dry cloth after each use.
